Reese Ney, Volleyball
Reese Ney signed her letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Thursday, May 29. Reese is a 5'7" setter from Cornerstone Academy in Greensboro, NC.
"I am really excited about Reese joining us in the Fall of 2025," said Head Coach Sarah Weavil. "I have been watching her play for a few years now, and I love the versatility she has to offer on the court."

Staying right here in North Carolina.
What is one thing people don't know about you?
One thing people don't know about me is that I know sign language.
What are you good at besides playing volleyball?
Signing
When did you start playing volleyball, and why?
I started playing volleyball when I was eight years old because my older sister was playing.
What position do you play?
Setter, I love this position because no matter what, I am always involved in the play, whether it is on defense or running the offense.
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
My favorite volleyball memory is winning our senior night in five sets.
What is your favorite food?
Sushi
Why did you choose Forsyth Tech?
I chose Forsyth Tech because it is close to home and they offer an uncommon program in the area.
