Lilly Winslow, Volleyball

Lilly Winslow signed her letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Wednesday, November 20th. Lilly is a 5'7 middle hitter from Perquimans High School in Hertford, NC. 

"We are so excited to have Lilly officially become a Trailblazer," said head coach Sarah Weavil. "Lilly is a great hitter and has had an outstanding high school career! We have no doubt she will bring a tireless work ethic and winning attitude to our team."

Vascular Sonography

If you could live anywhere, where would it be?

The beach!

What is one thing people don't know about you?

One thing people don't know about me is that I give meaningful advice.

What are you good at besides playing volleyball?

Corn hole

When did you start playing volleyball, and why?

I started playing volleyball when I was in elementary school. My friend and I would go to the high school volleyball games and I loved watching volleyball so I decided it would be even more fun to play!

What position do you play?

My number one position is right side, I love this because not a lot of people can defend as well from this side. They usually focus on defending the outside or middle hits and a hard ball from the right side is typically unexpected.

What is your favorite volleyball memory?

My favorite volleyball memory is going to the state championship twice and being able to experience that with some of my best friends.

What is your favorite food?

Chicken Alfredo

Why did you choose Forsyth Tech?

I chose Forsyth Tech because I loved the coaching staff!
