Ian Bush, Men's Basketball

Ian Bush signed his letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Tuesday, January 14th. Ian is a 6'6 wing from Alamance County, NC who attends Mt. Zion Christian Academy in Durham, NC. 

"Ian is a skilled wing with positional size and length," said head coach Lucas Hunter. "Ian has the ability to stretch the floor from three-point range, play above the rim, and impact the game with his length on the defensive end of the floor. I am excited to add a versatile player like Ian to this recruiting class and I look forward to coaching him!"

My mom has made a huge impact on my basketball journey.

What are you looking forward to about playing at Forsyth Tech?

I am looking forward to getting better and stronger and improving my game to move onto the next level.

The Golden State Warriors

Kevin Durant

Who do you model your game after?

I don't have anybody specific because I like to play all around. 

What is your dream job?

I want to be a high end car sales person. I am really into cars. 

What is something you are really good at besides basketball?

I am good at playing Call of Duty.

When did you start playing basketball, and why?

I started playing basketball when I was in sixth grade. 

What position do you play and why do you enjoy playing it?

I play as a wing and enjoy that beecuause it allows me to play inside and out.

What is your favorite basketball memory?

Helping Burlington Christian Academy make it to the final four for the first time ever. 

Why did you choose Forsyth Tech?

I chose Forsyth Tech because of the connection I have built with Coach Hunter and just believing in the process.
