Dylan Leuthardt, Men's Basketball
Dylan Leuthardt signed his letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Tuesday, April 8. Dylan is a 6'7 forward from Charlotte, NC. Dylan played at Mooresville High School until his senior season when he used his dual citizenship to play for the U18 Swiss National Team.
"Dylan is a very skilled forward that fits in perfectly with how we would like to play," said head coach Lucas Hunter. "Throughout this recruiting process, I have enjoyed getting to know Dylan and have a ton of respect for the work he has put in with the Swiss U18 National Team over the last year. I am excited to add a player to our roster with international playing experience. Dylan is a great student who will represent our program well on the court and in the classroom."

Who has made a big impact on your basketball journey?
Someone who has made a big impact for me is Coach Rudez, my coach for this season in Switzerland and also my Head Coach for U18 Swiss National Team in the European Championship this past summer. He has helped a lot with my development. I am also grateful to Coach Moore for giving me a opportunity to play at Mooresviile Highschool my junior year.
What are you looking forward to about playing at Forsyth Tech?
I am looking forward to the new atmosphere and program this season as well as playing for Coach Hunter.
Who is your favorite basketball team?
My favorite college team is Duke and favorite NBA team is the Celtics.
Who do you model your game after?
I really like the way KD plays overall, so I am trying to add some of that to part of my game.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is to play basketball professionally somewhere or seeing the different opportunies with academics afterwards.
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
I would pick either in Switzerland because I have family there and the mountains to snowboard, or I would pick Florida because of the good warm weather and it's also close to the ocean.
What is one thing people don't know about you?
A lot of people don’t know that I am from Switzerland and can speak Swiss, German, and I have visited over 20 countries.
What is something you are really good at besides basketball?
I am good at wakeboarding and snowboarding.
What is your favorite basketball memory?
My favorite basketball memory is playing in the U18 European Championship with the Swiss National Team in Croatia and Macedonia last summer.
Why did you choose Forsyth Tech?
I chose Forsyth Tech because I am excited to be part of a new basketball program and to grow under Coach Hunter and the staff!
