Cam Layaou, Men's Basketball
Cam Layaou signed his letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Monday, April 21. Cam is a 6'11 forward from Wilkesboro, NC. Cam comes to Forsyth Tech after spending a post-graduate year at Winston Salem Christian School competing in the Elite Prep League under head coach Jake Honeycutt. During his senior campaign (2023-2024), Cam averaged 20.1 PPG, 8.7 RPG, and 7.1 BPG for Millers Creek Christian School.
"Cam adds tremendous size and physicality to our front line," said head coach Lucas Hunter. "Cam comes to us having spent a year playing at a very high level with the Winston Salem Christian School Post Grad program. Cam has good hands and finishes well around the basket; he is hungry to develop, and I believe his best basketball is still in front of him. Cam is a great young man and will represent our program well on and off the court."
