Lisa Hawk

Bio

Lisa Hawk serves as the Coordinator for Athletics Fundraising and Corporate Sponsorships for the Trailblazers, bringing a unique perspective to the athletic department after a successful 30-year career in workforce and economic development. Before coming out of a brief retirement to rejoin Forsyth Tech, Lisa spent over two decades covering the Triad Region and eight years directly serving the Forsyth and Stokes communities.

As a former student-athlete at both the high school level and Gardner-Webb University, Lisa deeply understands the student-athlete experience, allowing her to connect authentically with local businesses and community partners.

"Being a part of the athletic department at Forsyth Tech is a dream come true," says Hawk. "It’s so fantastic to see our businesses and community come together to support these student-athletes as they pursue excellence both on the court and in the classroom."

A Burke County native, Lisa holds a BS in Human Services with a concentration in Sociology from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Public Administration from Appalachian State University, and is a licensed ACT Job Profiler. When she isn't cheering on the Trailblazers at games, she can be found playing pickleball or engaging with people in the community telling them the Trailblazer story.
