Emma Willard, Volleyball
Emma Willard signed her letter of intent to play for Forsyth Tech on Tuesday, March 4. Emma is a 5'4" libero from Davie County High School.
"I am extremely excited to have Emma join the Trailblazers," said head coach Sarah Weavil. "Emma will be adding quite a bit of strength to our back line not only in serve receive, but in defense as well."

Veterinary Technician

Rome, Italy
What is one thing people don't know about you?
One thing people don't know about me is that I have a big personality once you get to know me.
What are you good at besides playing volleyball?
Drawing!
When did you start playing volleyball, and why?
I started playing volleyball when I was in fourth grade. I was influenced by my friends at the time.
What position do you play?
I am a libero. I love playing libero because I get to celebrate my teammates and be the energy on the court.
What is your favorite volleyball memory?
I do not necessarily have a favorite volleyball memory, but my favorite thing about volleyball is the friendships I have made while playing volleyball. To be honest, it is more than a sport, it has taught me important lessons that have translated into my life. It has been a privilege to be able to do something I love!
What is your favorite food?
My favorite food is medium rare steak with green beans and mac & cheese.
Why did you choose Forsyth Tech?
I chose Forsyth Tech because I could play volleyball and still be close to home. Forsyth Tech just felt like the right decision for me!
